Eric was great! I was looking for a rebuilt German pump for my single cab and got in touch with Eric. The fuel pump not only looks great but it functions even better! Eric was very responsive to all my questions as I was having a few issues getting the motor to run after installing. His level of detail is superb and the customer service he provides is unmatched. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
Thank you so much for the business; it looks great installed!
Air-Cooled Artifacts, specifically Eric was an amazing find! I chased issues for weeks prior to ordering a 40HP Pierburg fuel pump from this company. The hands on support was incredibly helpful and available. The product I received was gorgeous and worked instantly. My 1964 beetle runs soooo much better than it did before installing this piece of art Eric calls a fuel pump. Gone are my flooding/ weeping issues. It mated to my Solex 28pict1 like long lost lovers! Absolutely worth every single penny! I highly recommend this product and company. Thank you!
Brilliant!
Thanks Eric for your excellent restored pump - a piece of artwork producing exactly 3 psi pressure. My initial concern on potential pump fitting issue in the alternator equiped engine is unfounded.
Kudos for the level of interaction provided when I hit installation issue caused by aftermarket pedestal’s dimension variance. That’s really comforting for customer who is on the other side of the globe like me…
Lukas,
I'm so glad we were able to get things sorted out. Please do reach out anytime if we can help again.
I would recommend purchasing from air-cooled artifacts. I plan to do so in the future.
Michael,
Thanks so much for supporting our small business!
I just does not get any better that this, Sixty year old parts as new again. Simply Magic! Incredible work.
When I wanted an original restored pump and Bosch coil for my 63 beetle I went with Aircooled Artifacts and I could not have been anymore pleased with what I got. So it was an obvious choice when wanting the same for my 66 bus to trust in the quality craftsmanship that Eric at ACA clearly puts into each and every pump and coil he restores. His attention to detail is fantastic. As long as I’m restoring and driving these cars I’ll be using ACA for my original restored parts.
Is the best fuel pump restore I've ever seen.
The restored fuel pump is artwork. Incredible.
Andrew,
Thank you so much for the support!
Awesome quality! Very happy with this fuel pump. It looks better than new.
Thanks again Eric , your attention to detail is impeccable .
Keep up the good work !!!
Perfect perfect, and beautiful. It bolted right on to my 40hp motor with no tuning; works flawless and looks NOS. Air-Cooled Artifacts is elevating what a product means to be restored.
I have a Pierburg fuel pump that i would like to overhaul & need a service kit for it, it is fitted to my 1971 Ford Transit 1500v4 colonge engine.. Do you know if a service kit is available please..
Hey, Keith.
We would need to see a photo of the exact pump. It may be fitted like the German VW pumps, but I won't know without seeing it.
Please email. eric@aircooledartifacts.com.
Hi. Do you sell a fuel pump that will fit a stock 1973 Super Beetle with a 1600 dual port engine? Thank you, Alex
We certainly do. The 1300/1600 German Pierburg Fuel Pump listed on our site is designed for 1967 and later models. Please note that the 'domed top' 40 HP version is not the correct fit for your specific year.
Will this work on my 67 Beetle?
While this 40 HP German Pierburg Fuel Pump will physically bolt on and function in your vehicle, it is not the correct version for your specific model year. I recommend sticking with the 'domed top' style — the 1300/1600 German Pierburg Fuel Pump — which is the correct fit for your car. We have this exact pump in our shop.
Will this work on a 1500? Still love your page.
While it will technically 'work,' it isn't the correct part. You need the 1300/1600 German Pierburg fuel pump, which we also carry.
