German fuel hose
5mm ID (inner diameter). Ethanol resistant. Cloth braided. Made in Germany by an established OEM manufacturer to Volkswagen.
Fuel hose clamps
3/8" - 13/32" range. 9 mm Aluzinc band provides 3x protection against corrosion over galvanized steel. Smooth band underside and rolled-up band edges protect hoses. Made in Europe.
In-line fuel filter
Metal-screened line. (Not the inferior paper-only filter versions.) Stops debris as small as 15 microns. The perfect defense against modern-day ethanol-based fuels.
Avoid mounting the fuel filter inside the engine bay. We recommend placing it near the transmission, adjacent to the point where the metal fuel line leaves the chassis.
Regardless of the fuel components you choose, the best strategy is to know your air-cooled engine and check everything on a regular basis.
