At last June’s VW Concurs d’Elegance show my bug took Runner Up, stock 1958-1967, no doubt in part to the judges close up inspection of the correct Solex 30 PICT-1 carburetor that looked brand new. The other components of the top end were also from Eric: fuel pump and coil. The oil-bath air cleaner was repaired and painted by Eric. I had the generator from his grandfather’s bug rebuilt and installed in my car. Everything was top notch and I’m impressed. Now, even my distributor was rebuilt by Eric. The distributor cap was supplied by me from NOS stock. Every piece has been worth the price.
Eric & Amanda,
The carburetor was way beyond my expectations. It's looks like it came straight from the factory.
I put it on and fired it up, within seconds had the mixture and idle adjusted.
I never had the correct carb on my 67 and always wanted to put it back to the way it was originally engineered.
Well now it is, and it runs perfect thanks to you!
I at first thought your price was a little high, but as the saying goes "you get what you pay for" and it was worth every penny.
This has been a great purchasing experience, and will highly recommend you to all of my VW buddy's.
The Carburetor was perfect. Exactly what I was looking for, and it looks
like it's never been used.
It’s amazing they can take a nearly 60 year old carb and make it look out of the box brand new.
Bolted it on and car starts right up zero adjustments absolutely beautiful!
Thanks so much for the business. We're always here to help.
I bought one of your rebuilt Solex Carbs, and so far its working great.
Glad to hear that, Jimmy! Thank you for the business.
